Mike and Rose "Horsing Around"

Last summer I was busy acquiring various pieces of draft-horse equipment, considered by many to be “antiques.”  The plan is, once Rose (the Clydesdale picture above) and I have some more practice working together as a team, we can integrate the use of draft power into the field operations on the farm.  We’ll start with a walk-behind scuffler and maybe get to try out the potato plow.  I’ll be sure to post more about this, stay tuned!

Memberships are rolling in, which is great.  There is still space left in the 2012 Summer CSA, so call or e-mail to sign up if you’d like to join.
