A heartfelt thankyou to all of the keen vegetable lovers who signed up early for Kolapore Gardens Summer CSA, 2012! The CSA is now full. I am still taking contact information from those who are still interested for a waiting list.
Well what a week – we’ve had about a foot of snow which lasted a day or two and is almost all gone now. The peas, onions and fava beans don’t seem to mind, and the parsley and beets seem to be fine.
I’ve been busy in the greenhouse, working on equipment and tending to the ducks, turkeys and chickens, who are happy to be out on grass again!
The ground seems to be replenished – it was so dry – this moisture has been a real blessing.
