This weeks’ small basket contains the following:
1 bunch fresh cilantro
roughly 3/4 lb arugula
1 head garlic
1 bunch parsnips
3-4 heads celeriac (celery root – great roasted in the oven or made into soup!)
1 bunch leeks
1 bunch nero di toscana kale (AKA black kale or dinosaur kale – think vitamins & minerals!)
1 quart potatoes
1 squash
*Large winter baskets are twice the size of small baskets. Contains vary from week to week with options for recipients to customize their orders. Other veggies to expect include lettuce, spinach, chard, rutabaga, beets, carrots, root parsley, salsify, onions, sunchokes, a variety of herbs, and more.
