- MOVING DAY
Last week Ryan and Maria, this years apprentices, helped me to move our two mobile greenhouses from sweltering spinach and pea plants to the future sight of greenhouse tomatoes, peppers and english cucumbers, here’s a video of the action…

- CSA START DATE & SIGN UP
Until this rain came yesterday I’d say this had been a dry spring – what a relief! We are setting our sights on the last week of May to start our CSA program. We still have spots available for pick up in Clarksburg, Thornbury and Collingwood – and it is shaping up to be an awesome season. Check out our CSA info page, or contact me for more information – its not too late to sign up to be a part of the magic and bounty this season!
- SEEDLING EVENTS COMING UP
We will have quite a few seedlings available for sale in the next coming weeks. If you or someone you know is looking to start a garden or fill some planters, be sure to find us at one of these upcoming events…
Every Saturday Morning at the Collingwood Farmers Market (Starting May 16th!!!)
Sunday May 24th – Seedy Sunday at the Kimberley General Store, in Kimberley
Sunday May 31st – Seed Saving Workshop at Headwaters Gathering, at Kimbercote Farm, current home of Sticks and Stones Wilderness School
And Sunday May 31st – Seedy Sunday at The Market, on HWY 26 near Meaford
We are also super excited and proud to be setting up at the first ever Thornbury Farmers Market, starting June 7th and running every Sunday from 11-2 until Thanksgiving
We’ll have an eclectic selection of open pollinated and heirloom tomatoes as well as other seedlings – everything you’ll need to get your garden growing.
- WORK BEE @ KOLAPORE GARDENS – SUNDAY MAY 17
We are also planning a work bee for Sunday May 17th to move our small heated greenhouse roughly 25 ft in preparation for a new heated greenhouse to be built this summer!!! Please RSVP if your interested in helping out for an hour or two Sunday morning (weather dependent)…
