The Hands Behind the Food

My name is Michael Reid

I have been gardening for most of my life, however, over the past nine years I have been learning more specifically about ecological food production at a producer scale, through apprenticeships, internships, academic and non-academic courses and hands on experience starting and co-managing a CSA/market garden

2012 was my first year growing for a CSA on the small farm where I live, nestled near the the caves of Duncan near Georgian Bay in the Blue Mountains.

Kolapore Gardens blends various approaches to creating a healthy garden and farm, incorporating principles from biodynamic agriculture, as well as permaculture and natural farming, with a focus of providing the most nutritious and healing food available and keeping it local
